about

cruise mood: the desire to be on a cruise, the feeling of being on a cruise, and the funk that inevitably sets in when you return from a cruise.

Heading to Alaska on the Golden Princess, 2009

My name is Anne and I am a cruise addict. If I won the lottery,  I would talk my employer into allowing me to work remotely and permanently move into a stateroom with my husband and our three cats. I grew up addicted to “The Love Boat” and was green with envy when my parents when took a cruise to the Mexican Riviera on the original Pacific Princess in 1977. 30 years later, I experienced my first cruise when my husband and I took the same Mexican Riviera cruise aboard the Dawn Princess for our anniversary. The second we boarded the ship, I was hooked.

About cruise mood
Setting sail from Seattle, 2010

Several cruises later, we find ourselves constantly planning our next embarkation and craving the feel of the rocking ship. While Princess is our go-to line, we have enjoyed a Celebrity cruise and experienced a taste of Holland America. We don’t cruise to scale onboard rock walls or skate on ice rinks.  All we need is uncrowded sun deck, excellent food, a warm pool, and an endless ocean view.
